When I was a child, it seemed to me that the world was frighteningly big. So I travel in order to make the world smaller – and although it becomes larger and more confusing with every step, its immensity also changes itself: the implicit size transforms itself into a more explicit one.
I travel also in order – though it doesn’t always succeed – to stray a bit off the track on which I got onto at birth.
And I will pick something up from the world that nourishes me.
In that I am like the termites that bring blossoms into their nests – in order to feed on the fungus that grows out of them.
