Scene 21: Hektor Maille finds…

… his own scent back.

After having found all 20 ingredients for the production of «Maille-Masala» Hektor Maille dived for a little while in the depths of the shower at his hotel room. Then he let himself drive to the Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport and got there in the 3:05 machine to Paris CDG.

20.55: Senpuav

In southern Argentina, however, things had come close to a catastrophe. With the intention of ruining Odette's plan, Tatjana had passed on secret messages to the agent. She had tried to guide him to a particular point in a particular place in El Calafate, where she wanted to capture him with a tractor-beam and shunt him straight back to Santa Lemusa. Patagonia was much too far. Though Tatjana had found out a possibility to transmit the ray through a large glacier indirectly to a particular point. But she had failed to reckon on the fact that the glacier would move during the operation. As a result of the slight shifting of the iceberg, the beam had been divided and had, as such, come within a millimetre of causing a doubling of the agent's body. Odette had seen through Tatjana's plan at the very last second only and managed to avert the disaster by tearing out the plug from its wall-socket. Though even Tatjana could not say what happened to the double after Odettes intervention – well possible that he was trapped in kind of zone between two worlds. But that left Odette cold: she was not in the least interested in this kind of intermediate realities.
