One Day in the Life of Odette Sissay

20.40: R3 from Port-Louis to Senpuav

Originally her plan had been to send the big electric eel from the aquarium of Port Louis to the tiny Waldsee of Moja and end the agent's long career with a sudden crackle. But because Maille did not contact anyone at all for three whole days during his journey from China to Sweden, the Lemusan Secret Service suddenly turned up at her doorstep – or, more accurately, at the doorstep of her employer. The friendly gentlemen asked her whether she had any idea about the whereabouts of her employer. And suddenly it dawned upon her that these agents could well think of searching Maille's house for clues about his current whereabouts. At that point Odette realised that she needed Maille in order to prevent the Lemusan Secret Service from physically exploring the house.

She also decided simultaneously that the agent should see with his own eyes the consequences his incapacity.
