If you keep your eyes almost shutteth, then the world looks like a movie from the early days of the medium: a quite grainy, flickering reality in which everything, that was obvious a second ago, makes room for unusual events. All alone in the vastness of the Antarctic Hektor Maille liked to squeezed his eyes - not only because of the blinding light, but also because than he saw himself arise - in a miraculous multiplication. And it was as if he was up to persuade himself.
